DEC COURSES
216-H DIAGNOSTIC AND PROCEDURAL CODING—3 Credits
This course is designed to teach students the basic fundamentals of ICD10 coding and CPT coding for physicians’ offices. This specially developed course covers the coding of diagnoses, diagnostic procedures, and surgical interventions for the purpose of insurance billing. During the semester, the student will be eligible to sit for his or her Coding Specialist Certification (Prerequisites: 240-H).
